During the Pandemic, businesses were forced to have their employees work from home. We had already honed our skills on providing remote support for most customers, however 100% support via remote tools required us to hone our skills. We had to find creative ways to provide support to clients who had dodgy internet connections. Explaining things as simply as possible became a required skill. A lot had to follow our instructions via a WhatsApp video call and we had to be patient with each other on the call on misunderstandings and retries on what needed to be done – refocusing and the distance of the camera to the object details became a skill!
Our focus is cloud support for small business. We have therefore invested in managed services platforms and remote support tools that assist us and our clients in providing the support they need even if they are sitting halfway across the world with just an internet connection.
