What you get
An IT partner who picks up the phone, explains things plainly, and tells you when something is not worth doing. We set up and manage Microsoft 365, cloud services, and remote support for South African small businesses. Not a call centre, not a ticketing system that takes three days to respond. A real person who knows your setup and gives you a straight answer.
How we work
Everything is cloud-first. Microsoft handles uptime. Google and Zoho handle email and productivity for businesses that prefer those platforms. We handle the people side: getting your team set up, sorting out the problems, and making sure the tools actually work the way your business needs them to.
No on-premise servers. No 24/7 monitoring contracts. No enterprise complexity you do not need and cannot justify. You pay for an IT partner who keeps things running, not for infrastructure you will never use.
What we do
TechCloud covers the technology a small business actually needs, from cloud setup to the physical network in your office.
- Managed IT support: ongoing remote support, device management, troubleshooting, and vendor coordination. The IT department you do not have to hire.
- Microsoft 365 setup and management: email, Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive, and security policies configured properly from day one.
- Document management: structured file storage, permissions, and collaboration through Microsoft 365, replacing shared drives and email attachments.
- Network and WiFi: structured cabling, WiFi coverage, switching, and network design. Onsite in Gauteng, nationally via remote project management.
- Internet connectivity: ISP selection, fibre installation coordination, router configuration, and ongoing connectivity support.
- Hardware consulting and support: device specification advice, procurement (new and refurbished), Windows 11 setup, Microsoft 365 enrollment, and ongoing hardware support.

Where we fit
If you have 5 to 50 staff and your IT is somewhere between “my nephew set it up” and “we have outgrown what we have,” that is exactly who we work with. We assess where you are, recommend what makes sense for your size and budget, and handle the migration.
We work with businesses across industries: professional services, nonprofits, logistics, retail, and trades. The common thread is not the industry but the size. Small businesses have different needs from enterprises, and they deserve an IT partner that understands that difference rather than selling them a scaled-down version of an enterprise product.
Based in Paulshof, Johannesburg, with onsite support across Sandton, Midrand, Randburg, and greater Gauteng. Remote support delivered nationally and internationally. Our remote support capability was refined through years of experience, well before the COVID period made remote work standard, and it remains the foundation of how we deliver IT support to businesses across the country.
Sudhashen's background
I have been working in IT since 2009, starting in corporate environments before founding TechCloud in 2015. The transition from corporate IT to running a managed services business for small companies was deliberate: I wanted to give small businesses the same quality of IT support that corporates take for granted, without the enterprise pricing or the complexity.
Seventeen years in the industry has taught me that the technology is rarely the hard part. The hard part is understanding what a business actually needs, explaining it in plain language, and delivering it without overcomplicating things. That is what TechCloud is built around.
I am personally involved in every client relationship. When you call TechCloud, you are not routed to a random technician. You get someone who knows your setup, your team, and what matters to your business.
What we don't do
We are honest about our limits. We do not run enterprise security operations centres, we do not monitor networks 24/7, and we do not manage on-premise servers. If your business needs those things, we will tell you, and we will point you to someone who specialises in them.
What we do promise is that when you call, we answer. When something breaks, we fix it. And when you ask us whether you need something, we give you a straight answer, even if the answer is no.
